Isle of Wight United Reformed Church

Shanklin URC

High Street
Isle of Wight
PO37 6LA

We are a group of committed Christians of all ages who love to worship God and seek to serve Him in our community. Our services are informal in style; with a range of music styles, Bible centred preaching and prayer ministry.

The church is situated in the heart of Shanklin, a lovely seaside town on the Isle of Wight and we also have a small Christian Bookshop (for the opening hours see the Bookshop page on the Shanklin URC Website).

Please come and pay us a visit and discover the life changing power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Shanklin URC is a member of the Evangelical Alliance

Where are we in Shanklin?

The church is right in the heart of Shanklin, on the corner of Landguard Road and the High Street. For more details visit Shanklin URC's website

Gatherings for worship in the building on Tuesdays at 14:00 have resumed, and we hope to have an in-person Sunday service on 27th June.
We hope that this will be live streamed to our Facebook page, but if this does not prove possible,
we will record the service and post it onto the page as soon as possible afterwards.

Any decisions which we take will depend on the Government’s own 'road map' and, in particular, when (and if) step 4 will take place.
This is currently scheduled for 21st June when it is hoped that many, if not all, of the current restrictions will be lifted.

On Sundays before reopening, at 11:00 a talk with a Bible reading will continue to be broadcast
live on Facebook by our minister and other people from their homes

(see 'Live @ SURC' below)

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our church secretary
Robin Wightman
